[12-14-2022] Four Killed After Vehicle Collided with Tree in Granite BayFour people died after a vehicle crashed into a tree in Granite Bay, Placer County, on Wednesday night, December 14, 2022.

Authorities confirmed that the collision transpired around 9:00 p.m. near East Roseville Parkway and Brackenbury Way.

According to reports, the vehicle drifted into the right shoulder, went straight then crashed directly into a tree. The car caught fire following the crash, killing all four occupants inside.
A witness stated that the truck ignited into flames immediately after impact.

Officials found that speed played a role in the fatal crash.

The identified victims were 65-year-old Karan P., 53-year-old Paul H., and 45-year-old Patrick G., all Granite Bay residents.

Authorities have also identified the driver as a 61-year-old Roseville resident, but his identity has not been disclosed.

Investigations on the collision are ongoing.
