[12-16-2022] Santa Clara County, CA – One Person Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose on Friday morning, December 16, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred on southbound Highway 101 north of McKee Road.

Further information on the collision remains under investigation. The identities of the victim and the driver were not released as of yet.

As of 6:15 a.m., several lanes are still closed, and a time frame for when they will reopen is unknown. Motorists are told to expect delays.

It is unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
