[12-16-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – One Person Hospitalized After Pursuit Led to Two-Vehicle Collision in Stockton

One person was hospitalized after a pursuit led to a two-vehicle collision in Stockton on Saturday evening, December 16, 2023.

According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened between Hammer Lane and Holman Road at an unspecified time.

A driver ran off after the authorities pulled his vehicle for a mismatch of license plate and registration. The pursuit came to an end after colliding with another vehicle.

The person in the other vehicle was transported to the hospital as a precaution, along with the suspect driver.

A loaded gun and narcotics were discovered inside the suspect’s vehicle. The authorities stated that the driver was on parole, and there was an arrest warrant for his passenger in connection with an armed robbery.

The authorities have not released further information about the collision.
