[08-21-2020] Fresno County, CA – 1 Dead, 1 Injured After a Fatal Car Collision at Temperance and Centra Avenue

One person was injured, while another was dead after a fatal traffic collision at an intersection in Fresno County on Friday afternoon, August 21.

The crash took place at the intersection of Temperance and Central Avenues at approximately 1:00 p.m.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic was heading northbound on Temperance Avenue when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign causing the Civic to collided with an oncoming Isuzu utility box truck heading east on Central Avenue.

The Honda sustained significant front-end damage as a result of the crash. The driver of the Honda died at the scene while her passenger was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. Both the driver and the occupants of the Isuzu were reportedly uninjured.
