[05-05-2021] Fresno County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 180

A 19-year-old man identified as David Cordova S. was killed in a deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 180 on Wednesday night, May 5th.

The deadly accident happened on Highway 180 at Fowler Avenue. The victim was initially riding a car when, for unclear reasons, he exited the vehicle and ran across the roadway.

The young man was then struck by a passing vehicle. Unfortunately, he was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Additional information about the accident is unavailable at the moment. The driver that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is further investigating the case.
