[11-09-20] Kern County, CA – Two People Killed in a Fatal Head-On Crash in Wasco

Two people were killed due to a fatal head-on traffic collision in Wasco on Monday morning, November 9.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the deadly collision transpired around 4:30 a.m. on Highway 46 just west of Beech Avenue near Wasco.

A Honda and a BMW were involved in the collision. The two vehicles collided head-on for unclear reasons. How the crash occurred and the reason why it happened has not been established at the moment.

The Honda driver, identified as Celeste Christine Turner, was pronounced dead at the scene while the BMW driver, identified as Alexi Jovani Murillo, sustained significant injuries from the accident.

Murillo was airlifted to Kern Medical Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Additional information about the accident is limited at the moment.
