[07-01-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Man Killed in a Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident in Long Beach

A 67- year-old man identified as Larry E. Clay was killed in a hit-and-run accident in West Long Beach on Wednesday night, July 1st.

Willow StreetAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred at around 9 p.m. on WIllo Street, west of Delate Avenue. The victim was attempting to cross on an unmarked crosswalk when he was suddenly struck by an SUV heading east.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV fled the scene. Local authorities later found the suspect’s vehicle at around 9:30 p.m., but the driver was nowhere to be found.
