[08-24-2020] Riverside County, CA – One Person Killed in a Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Jurupa Valley

A 53-year-old man identified as Eduardo Gutierrez of Jurupa Valley was killed after a suspected drunk driver struck his motorcycle in Jurupa Valley on early Monday morning, August 24.

The fatal collision took place on westbound 60 near County Village Road at approximately 3:40 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim was riding his Suzuki GSXR on westbound 60 when he was suddenly struck from behind by a Nissan Sentra.

Due to the severity of the impact, the victim sustained life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, the victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nissan driver remained at the scene and called 911. She cooperated with local authorities.

Authorities believe that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
