[09-06-2020] San Bernardino, CA – One Man Killed After a Fatal Motorcycle Accident in the U.S. Route 395

A 71-year-old man identified as James Rodgers was killed after getting struck by a vehicle on U.S. Route 395 on Sunday morning, September 6.

The fatal collision occurred at around 8:26 a.m. on Highway 395, south of mile marker 40. Rodgers was heading south on his motorcycle when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle heading in the same direction.

According to the witness accounts, the driver of the vehicle lost control and veered off the roadway. The reason why the driver lost control of his vehicle and hit the motorcyclist is currently unclear. The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident.
