[06-10-2020] San Diego, CA – 2 People Killed, 1 Injured After a Fatal Car Accident in Ramona

Two people were killed, and another person was injured after a head-on traffic collision in Fernbrook, Ramona, on Wednesday afternoon, June 10th.

According to the initial reports from the local police, the crash occurred at around 12:15 p.m. A 2016 Ford Focus and a 2017 Subaru Impreza were involved.

A 56-year-old woman was driving the Ford Focus northbound on Mussey Grade Road when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle and drifted onto the southbound lane. She then crashed head-on into an oncoming 2017 Subaru Impreza.

The driver of the Ford and a passenger in the Subaru Impreza were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Subaru sustained significant injuries and was immediately airlifted to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.
