[09-22-2020] Santa Barbara County, CA – 5 People Injured After a Two-Vehicle Crash in Orcutt

A total of five people were injured after a two-vehicle traffic collision in Orcutt on Tuesday afternoon, September 22.

The crash occurred around noon on northbound Highway 101 near Cat Canyon Road in Orcutt. One of the vehicles involved crashed into the other car’s front side.

The reason why the collision occurred is currently unclear. One person had to be airlifted to the Santa Barbara Cottage hospital after sustaining severe collision injuries.

Four other people sustained minor to moderate injuries. Two of them were taken to the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital while the other two were rushed to the Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria. Information about the circumstances leading to the events is currently limited.
