[01-26-2024] Riverside County, CA – Two People Hospitalized Following Fiery Three-Vehicle Collision in Corona

Two people were hospitalized following a fiery three-vehicle collision in Corona on Friday evening, January 26, 2024.

According to the responding officials, the crash occurred at about 6:00 p.m. on the Interstate 15 northbound lanes north of the Magnolia Avenue ramps.

Authorities stated that three cars were involved in the accident, and by the time they arrived, two of them were already on fire. One of the involved vehicles was a medical van containing several oxygen tanks. Soon after the collision, the tanks exploded, spreading fire around.

They were able to extinguish the fire and treat the wounds of the victims, who were then transported to the hospital for further medical care.

The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. The identities of those involved have yet to be released.
