[02-06-2023] One Person Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 162Authorities reported that one person was injured and hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 162 in Glenn County on Monday morning, February 06, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash between two cars occurred at about 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 162 and County Road V, west of Willows.

One of the vehicles reportedly made a left turn onto County Road V just moments before the crash. The exact cause and circumstances leading to it are still being investigated.

One person was injured and transported via air ambulance to a nearby hospital. It remains unclear how many people got involved and the extent of possible injuries.

The crash resulted in the closure of the highway for roughly 45 minutes before being reopened.
