[02-11-2022] Sacramento County, CA – One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Fuel Truck and School Bus in Rural South Sacramento

Authorities said a fuel truck collision with an Elk Grove Unified School District bus sent one adult to the hospital collided in rural south Sacramento on Friday morning, February 11, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s online activity log, the two-vehicle crash happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. at Rogers and Bradshaw roads.

According to the CHP, the crash resulted in minor injuries.

The collision happened near an intersection in the Vineyard neighborhood over railroad tracks.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, one adult was taken to a hospital for treatment.

There had been no other injuries reported.

It was unclear whether any students were on the bus at the time of the accident.

The CHP reported that one of the northbound lanes on Bradshaw was blocked while authorities awaited a tow truck to remove the school bus from the scene.

There are no other details available. The crash remains under investigation.
