[02-04-2022] Riverside County, CA – 63-Year-Old Nurse Killed in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident Involving Stolen SUV at Cactus Valley Road

Authorities in Southern California have confirmed that a 63-year-old nurse identified as Kathleen H. was killed in a freak accident involving a stolen SUV in Riverside County on Friday, February 4, 2022.

When a stolen Ford Explorer was being towed by a black pick-up truck, it became detached, causing the crash that killed the nurse.

The SUV was mounted on a two-wheel trailer, with the back wheels on the ground.

Her vehicle was directly in the path of the Explorer.

The pick-up truck driver did not stop and drove away from the scene.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, less than 30 minutes after the head-on collision.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what kind of truck it was.

The crash remains under investigation.
