According to reports, the collision occurred around 10:51 a.m. in the 3100 block of Chollas Road, Oak Park.

Authorities stated that a black Volkswagen SUV driver was traveling southbound with a child in the vehicle.

At the same time, the driver of a red Nissan was driving north with her grandchild when she allegedly crossed the opposite lane and collided with the vehicle.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported three victims to Paradise Valley Hospital for minor injuries.

After the collision, traffic was blocked in both directions for about an hour.

Authorities were investigating the crash.
