[02-15-2023] Two-Car Crash in Malibu Sent One Down the Cliff, Injuring ThreeThree people were sent to the hospital, including two who required airlifting, after a two-vehicle collision in Malibu on Wednesday night, February 15, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash that sent one of the cars down a cliff occurred at night at 25800 Pacific Coast Highway east of Corral Canyon Drive.

The authorities reported that the collision caused one car to go over a cliffside on PCH, totally wrecking the vehicle. It landed and came to rest on the beachfront area close to Lifeguard Station 3.

The responding firefighters extricated all three of the vehicle’s occupants after getting trapped inside. Two were brought to Pepperdine University before being airlifted to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. An ambulance was used to transport the third victim.

No further details were immediately available on the total number of people involved and the injured victims’ current conditions. The cause of the initial violent collision remains under investigation.

Two-Vehicle Accident Statistics
