A 24-year-old man identified as Christopher S. was killed after a deadly bicycle crash in San Bernardino on Monday afternoon, February 28, 2022.

A silver Lexus Suv struck the victim riding a bike in the area for unclear reasons. Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was thrown into a guardrail.

The involved driver remained at the scene and helped the victim until authorities and emergency personnel arrived.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Local authorities are further investigating the possible factors that led to the accident.
