[02-28-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Bicycle Crash on Highway 18 and Old Waterman Canyon Road

A 24-year-old man identified as Christopher S. was killed after a deadly bicycle crash in San Bernardino on Monday afternoon, February 28, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at around 5:45 p.m. on Highway 18 and lower Old Waterman Canyon Road.

A silver Lexus Suv struck the victim riding a bike in the area for unclear reasons. Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was thrown into a guardrail.

The involved driver remained at the scene and helped the victim until authorities and emergency personnel arrived.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
