[03-17-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Two People Injured, Two Others Arrested in Three-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Crash Along Pacific Coast HighwayAccording to authorities, two people were injured, and two others were arrested in a three-vehicle hit-and-run crash along the Pacific Coast Highway in Southern California that sent one car off the road and into the ocean on Thursday night, March 17, 2022.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred just before 10:00 p.m. in Los Angeles, north of Pacific Palisades.

The people inside the car that went into the water, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, fled the scene. Soon after, officers spotted them on the beach and took them into custody.

According to news footage, a mangled car was seen on the highway, and another was seen sitting on the rocks in the surf line.

Several lanes of the highway were closed as a result of the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
