[03-17-2024] Ventura County, CA – 66-Year-Old Rider Killed, Three Others Injured Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision in Ojai

A 66-year-old rider was killed, and three others were injured following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Ojai on Sunday afternoon, March 17, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:15 p.m. on Highway 33 near the Potrero John Trail.

Authorities stated that a 2017 Dodge caravan was traveling northbound when it crossed into the southbound lane and crashed into the motorcycle.

The rider sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 34-year-old driver of the minivan sustained cuts to her right leg, while her two passengers suffered minor injuries.
