Two people were injured following a vehicle vs. semi-truck collision in Turlock on Sunday evening, March 17, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 6:50 p.m. along northbound Highway 99 at West Taylor Road.

CHP was apparently expecting that a vehicle had rolled over as originally reported, but none were found upon arrival. Two vehicles were involved in the incident: a car and a tractor-trailer combo.

Authorities confirmed that two people suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

The number 3 lane of northbound Highway 99, between Taylor off-ramp and on-ramp, was blocked as a precaution.

No further information was immediately available. Investigations are ongoing.
