[03-19-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on S Normandie and West 30th

One pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles on Sunday night, March 19, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal crash occurred at about 11:50 p.m. near the South Normandie Avenue and West 30th Street intersection.

A vehicle traveling south reportedly struck a pedestrian and fled the scene without pulling over to help or call for assistance.

The pedestrian was sent to a nearby hospital and passed away. No information on their identity was released at this point.

There was no information available regarding the suspect driver or the suspect’s vehicle that fatally hit the victim.
