[03-21-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Unidentified Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Pomona

A pedestrian crash claimed the life of an unidentified person in Pomona on Tuesday night, March 21, 2023.

The deadly collision reportedly occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the 1200 block of East Holt Avenue and Hershey Street.

Authorities responded to a traffic collision and discovered a pedestrian in the street. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers conversed with a person, and a truck was also found at the scene. It remains unclear whether the individual and truck were involved in the incident.

It is unknown if the Pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street.

Officers closed both westbound and eastbound East Holt Avenue while they conducted an investigation.
