One unidentified 7-year-old girl riding her bicycle was struck by an inattentive driver in Davis on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

According to the police, the girl was with her grandmother and the girl’s two siblings when an inattentive driver struck her, dragging the child underneath the wheel of the car.

The authorities stated that the driver was distracted at the time of the crash.

The 7-year-old girl reportedly suffered a broken leg but is expected to recover.

It is still unclear if the driver will face any charges.
