[03-24-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – 20-Year-Old Woman Killed, Two Others Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Near Studio City

An unidentified 20-year-old woman was killed, and two others were hospitalized in a two-vehicle collision near Studio City on Thursday, March 24, 2022.

[03-24-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - 20-Year-Old Woman Killed, Two Others Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Near Studio CityCHP Officer Ramon Kendricks told City News Service that the California Highway Patrol officers responded to the collision at 2:05 a.m. at the intersection of the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway and the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway.

According to video footage, one of the vehicles ended up on the Tujunga Avenue off-ramp, while another was severely damaged and appeared to be torn in half.

According to Kendricks, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two victims were taken to the hospital in unknown conditions, according to ABC 7.

Traffic was diverted from the 101 Freeway to the 134 Freeway due to the collision that closed the Tujunga off-ramp for several hours.

It was unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
