[04-17-2022] Orange County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash in Santa Ana Injures Five

Five people were hurt following a multi-vehicle crash in Santa Ana on Sunday morning, April 17, 2022.

The collision happened at approximately 10:14 a.m. in the area of Monte Vista Avenue and Raitt Street.

Several vehicles collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the collision occurred and the number of vehicles involved have not been established.

At least one person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Five people sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to a trauma center for treatment.
