[04-30-2023] One Passenger Injured After Suspected DUI Two-Vehicle Crash in Huntington ParkOne passenger was injured after a suspected DUI two-vehicle crash in Huntington Park early Sunday morning, April 30, 2023.

Los Angeles County Fire Department and Huntington Park Police Department responded to a traffic collision at around 2:26 a.m. near State Street and Gage Avenue.

When authorities arrived, they discovered a trapped passenger and worked to elevate an overturned SUV so the victim’s arm could be freed. A police officer reported that the driver was possibly drunk but not injured.

The injured passenger was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital in uncertain condition.

The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash was uninjured and was not taken to a hospital. The driver appeared to be the only occupant.

The authorities have not yet released any further information.
