[05-25-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Two People Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on 210 FreewayTwo people were killed in a big rig crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Verdugo Hills early Wednesday morning, May 25, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after midnight on the westbound 210 Freeway at La Tuna Canyon Road.

Firefighters worked to free them after their sedan became stuck beneath the truck.

The pair were reportedly trapped inside a vehicle after a collision with a semi-trailer.

According to the CHP, a pedestrian was also struck and was unresponsive on the freeway.

Both vehicles ended up on the right shoulder of the freeway, but the collision closed three lanes.

The cause of the fatal collision was still unknown.

It’s unclear how a pedestrian ended up on the highway.

The crash remains under investigation.
