[05-26-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - One Person Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on 105 FreewayOne unidentified person was killed in a crash that shut down several lanes for hours on the 105 Freeway in the West Athens area early Thursday, May 26, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 2:14 a.m. on the westbound 105 Freeway at Vermont Avenue.

The collision reportedly involved a pickup truck and a semi.

One person was pronounced dead.

The authorities have not disclosed the person’s identity.

Three lanes and the Vermont off-ramp were closed for the investigation and cleanup of the fatal crash.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
