[07-24-2022] Fresno County, CA – 56-year-old Woman Killed in a Hit-and-Run Crash on Tulare StreetAccording to the Fresno police, a 56-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Tulare Street in Fresno on Sunday night, July 24, 2022.

The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. on Tulare near Eighth Street.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified her as Diana H. of Fresno on Monday, the latest pedestrian-vehicle fatality.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene after becoming unresponsive.

According to Fresno Police Lt. Sean Biggs, they have no eyewitnesses or information about what happened.

The fatality was the third in Fresno in the last 11 days involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. On July 14, a truck struck and killed a 50-year-old woman near Blackstone and Ashlan avenues, and a 59-year-old man was killed on July 17 at Belmont Avenue and First Street.
