[09-05-2022] Butte County, CA - One Dead, Four Injured Following a Rollover Crash on Highway 99According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in a rollover crash at Highway 99 on Monday afternoon, September 05, 2022.

According to CAL FIRE Butte Unit, a helicopter was requested for the collision on Highway 99 near Richvale Highway, but four people were transferred to the hospital via ambulance.

Two patients with serious injuries were sent to Enloe Medical Center. Another two persons were brought to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

One of the four persons brought to the hospital was a child.

At least two automobiles were involved.

Crews have set up one-way traffic control. Drivers are urged to be cautious in the area.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
