[09-09-2022] San Luis Obispo County, CA - One Person Injured After Hit-And-Run Collision Along Los Osos ValleyAccording to the authorities, one person was injured and was taken to the hospital in a hit-and-run crash along Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo Friday morning, September 9, 2022.

The crash occurred just after 9:30 a.m. along Los Osos Valley Road, about a mile west of Foothill Blvd.

The collision caused a silver pickup truck to careen off the side of the road and into an embankment. Emergency medical services and law enforcement personnel responded to the scene.

The driver and vehicle found responsible for the collision have reportedly been identified, and the driver has allegedly been detained by law enforcement.

The car’s sole occupant sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital after the collision.

When it took the crew to pull the truck out of the field, Los Osos Valley Road was temporarily closed.

There has been no word on the severity of the injuries.
