[11-11-2021] San Diego County, CA – Two People Injured After a Crash Involving a Sheriff’s Deputy in Poway

Two people were hurt after a two-vehicle crash involving a San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputy in Poway on Thursday afternoon, November 11, 2021.

The crash transpired at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the area of Poway Road and Community Road.

A Nissan Rogue driven by a 28-year-old woman and a Sheriff’s deputy vehicle was involved in the collision. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established.

Five children were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. Two of the children were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been disclosed.
