An off-duty officer was trapped following a collision with a dump truck in Arleta early Tuesday morning, November 15, 2022.

According to reports, the crash occurred around 1:54 a.m. between the northbound 5 Freeway and Terra Bella exit.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded after receiving a call from an officer needing assistance.

The officer was off-duty when a dump truck struck him, trapping him inside a car that slammed into the center divider.
