[11-21-2022] Tehama County, CA – Woman Injured After Getting Hit by Van in Red Bluff

Authorities said a female pedestrian was injured and hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Red Bluff on Monday evening, November 21, 2022.

According to the Red Bluff Police Department, the crash occurred after 7:00 p.m. between Damon and Chestnut Avenues in the 400 block of Antelope Boulevard.

The woman was reportedly walking in the eastbound lanes of the roadway wearing dark clothing when a utility van struck her.

Responders transported the woman to the hospital, where she is expected to survive her injuries. There was no information on her identity.

Investigation continues, but the van driver was reportedly not cited.
