[11-24-2022] At Least One Injured After Car Crashed Into Power Pole on Thanksgiving NightAt least one person was injured when a car crashed into a power pole in Lassen County on Thanksgiving night, Thursday, November 24, 2022.

According to the local authorities, the collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Richmond Road near Circle Drive.

The vehicle reportedly smashed into an LMUD (Lassen Municipal Utility District) power pole enough to send it flipping over on its roof.

The driver, along with the passengers, were safely removed by emergency responders and LMUD linemen after being trapped in the car. No details were released on the total number of people involved, but they reportedly sustained minor injuries.

The crash caused a power outage for two hours in the area of Richmond road, Susan Hills, and the Golf Course, affecting roughly 900 homes.

No information regarding the reason for the crash or those involved has been made public.
