[11-25-2022] Butte County, CA - Mother and Child Injured in Pedestrian Accident in ParadiseAuthorities said a mother and her child were injured after being hit by a car in Paradise on Friday afternoon, November 25, 2022.

According to the Paradise Police Department, the crash occurred around 4:50 p.m. at Honey Run Road and Skyway intersection.

A white SUV reportedly made a left turn from Honey Run Road onto Skyway when it hit the woman with her child in a stroller walking across the intersection’s crosswalk.

The impact left the mother and her child with minor injuries.

The driver admitted to the police that the pedestrians were in their blind spot, so they did not notice them.

Alcohol or drugs were not suspected as factors in the crash as the investigation continued.
