[12-30-2022] San Diego County, CA – 28-Year-Old Man Injured in Ocean Beach Pedestrian Accident

Authorities reported that a 28-year-old male pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car in San Diego on Friday evening, December 30, 2022.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred near the Coronado Avenue and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard intersection in the Ocean Beach neighborhood.

The 32-year-old male driver of a Jeep Gladiator was reportedly traveling south to 1600 Sunset Cliffs when he turned left into Coronado and struck the pedestrian crossing it.

The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. His upper arm and forearm were fractured. Meanwhile, there are no updates on the driver.

The crash is being looked into by the San Diego Police Traffic Division.
