[11-06-2020] Fresno County, CA – Two Teens Hurt After a Pedestrian Accident in Clovis

Two unidentified teenagers were seriously hurt after getting struck by a truck in Clovis on Friday morning, November 6.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the accident happened at Shepherd Avenue, just east of Peach Avenue, at approximately 4:15 a.m.

Two pedestrians, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old were walking on Shepherd Avenue when they were suddenly struck by a passing pickup truck.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened is currently unclear. The two pedestrians were rushed to Valley Children’s Hospital to receive treatment.

The driver that struck the pedestrians remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash.
