[12-09-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Person Killed After a Two-Vehicle Crash in Pasadena

A 49-year-old woman identified as Juanita Johnson was killed after a two-vehicle traffic crash in Pasadena on Wednesday morning, December 9.

The deadly accident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Glenarm Street.

Johnson was reportedly driving her Kia Optima northbound on Fair Oaks when, for unclear reasons, she collided with an Audi S5 heading westbound at the intersection.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established. Both of the vehicles sustained significant front-end damage from the crash.

Johnson was killed in the accident while three of her passengers suffered moderated injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the Audi was also hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fatal accident. Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident.
