[12-02-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Person Killed in a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Santa Monica

A 28-year-old woman identified as Sasha George was killed due to a deadly pedestrian accident in Santa Monica on Wednesday evening, December 2.

The accident transpired at approximately 8:10 p.m. on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway near Western Avenue.

George was struck by an unidentified driver traveling in the westbound lane of Santa Monica (10) Freeway. It is unclear why she was walking on the Freeway at the time of the accident.

The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
