One unidentified person was killed after a deadly multi-vehicle traffic collision on Highway 50 on Wednesday afternoon, May 12.

[05-12-2021] Sacramento County, CA - One Person Killed After a Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 50According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of Highway 50 near 59th Street.

A 1987 Honda Shadow crashed into a disabled 1971 Fiat that was blocking the slow lane.

Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was ejected from the Honda Shadow and landed across the highway, where a GMC SUV later struck him.

The motorcyclist was killed in the collision. The occupants of the GMC SUV reportedly sustained minor injuries.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident. The case is currently under investigation.
