Two people were killed, including a six-year-old child were killed after a two-vehicle collision in Adelanto on Saturday afternoon, May 20.

[05-20-2021] San Bernardino County, CA -Two People Killed After a Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in AdelantoThe deadly collision occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. on U.S. Highway 395 and Holly Road, near Adelanto. A gold-colored 2002 Toyota Camry and a white 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck were involved in the collision.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened have not been established. The GMC Sierra driver was later identified as 65-year-old Slobodan V.

The GMC Sierra driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were reportedly in critical condition, including a six-year-old passenger in the Camry identified as Keitrick E.

The injured parties were airlifted to Victor Valley Global Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, the young boy later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. He was pronounced dead in the hospital.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Adelanto is actively investigating the case. No arrests have been made at the moment.
