[10-15-2020] San Luis Obispo County, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 Kills One

An unidentified 55-year-old Los Osos resident was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in San Luis Obispo on Thursday morning, October 15.

The deadly accident occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Madonna Road. The unidentified pedestrian was running across the highway for unexplained reasons from the center divider and headed towards the highway’s shoulder.

He was then later struck by a passing vehicle that was traveling about 65-70 mph. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries from the crash. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
