[10-18-2021] Ventura County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Car Crash in Oxnard

One unidentified older man was killed after a fatal two-vehicle collision in Oxnard on Monday morning, October 18.

The major collision happened on Victoria Avenue near Wolley Road in Oxnard at approximately 11:06 a.m.

A southbound 2001 BMW 330i traveled on Victoria Avenue when it collided with an eastbound 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Unfortunately, the 84-year-old Jeep Grand Cherokee driver sustained fatal injuries. He was immediately taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The Oxnard Police Department is further investigating the cause of the collision.
