[01-11-2022] San Diego County, CA – One Person Injured Following a Semi-Truck Crash in Nestor

An unidentified 29-year-old man was killed after a deadly semi-truck crash in Nestor on Saturday evening, January 8, 2022.

The accident occurred on Palm Avenue near Saturn Boulevard in Nestor at approximately 7:49 p.m.

A Nissan Altima driven by the 29-year-old man was traveling on Palm Avenue when he rear-ended a fuel tanker parked at a red light.

The Nissan Altima driver sustained life-threatening injuries following the accident. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver was uninjured in the mishap. He remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
