An unidentified woman was killed after a deadly multi-vehicle collision in Healdsburg on Monday afternoon, February 7, 2022.

[02-07-2022] Sonoma County, CA - Woman Killed After a Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in HealdsburgThe fatal collision occurred on the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Old Redwood Highway at approximately 1:00 p.m.

A Dodge Ram rear-ended a vehicle which caused a chain reaction crash. The Dodge driver was reportedly moving faster than the other vehicles.

The Dodge crashed into a white Subaru and a black Hyundai Tucson. The black Hyundai Tucson sustained major front-end damage; it later struck a guardrail. Meanwhile, the Hyundai SUV then drove back into traffic, colliding with a Chevrolet truck.

A woman seated at the rear side of the Hyundai Tucson was killed in the mishap. The Dodge driver was uninformed in the crash and remained to cooperate with authorities.

Meanwhile, two others sustained major injuries in the crash. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Local authorities are further investigating the case. Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the accident.
