[02-15-2023] Riverside County, CA – Four-Car Collision in East Hemet Injured At Least Seven People

Seven people were injured, including two in critical condition, following a multi-vehicle collision in Hemet on Wednesday afternoon, February 15, 2023.

Reports stated that the crash transpired around 1:50 p.m. on the Ramona Expressway near Lincoln Avenue, about a mile south of the Soboba Indian Reservation.

According to authorities, they were notified of the collision and discovered two parties in separate cars who needed extrication.

Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims from the vehicles. The two sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to the hospital.

One of the victims and the remaining five patients were transported to a regional trauma center by ambulance.

The parties were not named, and the cause of the crash was unknown.

Ramona was partially closed for several hours while the crash was investigated.
