[02-23-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed Following a Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Industry

A 56-year-old man identified as Miguel Rios L. was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash in Industry on early Wednesday morning, February 23, 2022.

The accident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. on the west Pomona 60 Freeway in Industry.

The victim was initially driving his 2005 Ford Escape westbound when his vehicle crashed into the center divider for unclear reasons.

The victim then exited his vehicle; a passing 2012 Toyota Highlander suddenly struck him as he was standing outside. The Toyota Highlander also struck the victim’s car.

Unfortunately, the victim was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the involved parties has not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
