A multi-vehicle accident is more likely when there is a lot of fog, rain, or snow on the road. As a result, drivers must be especially cautious and vigilant. Many individuals are unaware of how hazardous the roadways are while they drive.

According to a recent NHTSA research, over 13,000 persons were killed in multi-vehicle crashes involving passenger vehicles, which account for more than 40% of all motor vehicle accidents each year.

Many people involved in multi-car accidents don’t have much time to avoid colliding with cars. Because they are afraid, most drivers veer out of their lane, hit the brakes, and crash. Vehicles that swerve into oncoming traffic to escape a collision frequently generate a larger chain reaction and additional cars to pile up.
